DESCRIPTION
Pressure cooker for home canning and cooking.
A. Heavy cast aluminum cylindrical container, bail handle, wire with black painted wooden grip. Six wingnuts around the rim to hold the cooker cover in place. A loose inside panel (C) is perforated with 10 circular holes, sits on interior bottom.
B. Cover is slightly domed with flange to sit inside top of cylinder. Topped with two wooden knob vertical handles on either side, pressure gauge in center of cover, encased in red metal, two other metal gauges on top. Top of cover is debossed: "NATIONAL/PRESSURE COOKER/EAU CLAIRE WIS./12” has arrow that corresponds with engraved arrow on container.
