Death investigation underway in Torrance

A death investigation is underway in Torrance, according to police. 
Circumstances surrounding the incident remain scarce, but Torrance Police Department officers could be seen at the intersection of Oregon Court and Maple Avenue from SkyCal. A white canopy covered a person’s body.
A silver sedan parked nearby had its trunk ajar. It’s unclear if it was related to the ongoing investigation.
